Class Proposals
Ideas are always welcome. If you have something you'd like to teach or something you'd like to learn, please let us know! If you are interested in teaching a class for Community Education, please fill out a Class Proposal.

Teaching a class is great way to share your knowledge and skills with youth and/or adults in our community. You do not need a "degree" to teach community education, just a passion for your subject and a desire to share your knowledge with others!

Please note: Community Education is a community service, not a way to make a living, run your business, or sell your products and services. Instructors are not allowed to sell or promote specific products/services during Community Education classes.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How much is the pay?
Our instructors are both volunteer and paid positions. We generally compensate via a percentage of class fees or an hourly rate.

What will the cost of my class be?
We strive to keep our class fees as low as possible. Class fees will vary depending on instructor compensation, supply cost, meeting times and class type.

Where do the class fees go that are charged for my class?
Community Education relies on fees to support our activities. Fees go towards compensating instructors, pulishing and mailing the community education catalog, providing a website and online registration, supplies, custodial fees, and much more.
