Detroit Lakes Community Education provides lifelong learning opportunities for all ages in our community! Please browse our offerings to see the wide range of options available. Ideas are always welcome. If you have something you'd like to teach or something you'd like to learn, please let us know!

Please note: we have a new online registration system. The first time you use it, you'll need to set up a new username/password for your account. If you have children in the school district, you'll be able to connect to their accounts that have already been set up for you. Please call us if you have any questions or problems navigating the new system!

By phone: 218-847-4418
In person: Lincoln Education Center, 204 Willow Street East, Detroit Lakes

You are enrolled in the class upon receipt of registration and payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover or checks made payable to ISD 22. Once registered, just show up and enjoy the class! Classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis but sometimes must be canceled due to lack of enrollment, so it's best to register as soon as possible. Don't take a chance that your class may be full or get canceled!

If you need to cancel your registration from a class, we request three working days notice for a full refund. If Community Ed cancels a class due to low enrollment or bad weather, a full refund will be issued. (Please note that refunds on payments made by check or cash may take up to one month to be refunded.)

Community Education periodically takes photos of participants in our classes and during sponsored activities and these photos may be used in the Community Education catalog or other promotional material. If you wish not to have your picture taken or published, you must provide us with a written notice in advance.

Bad Weather
If Detroit Lakes Public Schools cancels school or releases students early due to weather concerns, Community Education classes and activities will also be canceled or postponed. Weather-related announcements are made on KDLM 1340AM and KDLM 102.3FM.
